The Place offers a variety of flexible meeting rooms and an IT suite available for hire at competitive rates.

  • Rooms 1 & 2: Comfortably seats 12 people (boardroom style)
  • Room 3: Comfortably seats 18 people (boardroom style)
  • Room 4: Comfortably seats 25 people (boardroom style)
  • Room 5: One-to-one space
  • Room 9: Office space for hire
  • Room 10: Comfortably seats 35 people (boardroom style)
  • Rooms 11 & 12: Office spaces for hire
  • Room 13: Classroom setup for 20 people
  • Room 14: Office space for hire
  • Room 15: Relaxed cafĂ©-style space for up to 20 people

All rooms can have seating reconfigured (e.g., cabaret style) which may slightly increase capacity.

The IT suite is available to book outside of library opening hours. Our small kitchen is available for making tea and coffee. While we don’t have catering facilities, you are welcome to arrange outside catering.
