The Place has a variety of flexible meeting rooms and an IT suite available for hire at competitive rates:
- Rooms 1 & 2 each hold about 12 people comfortably seated in boardroom style.
- Room 3 holds about 18 people comfortably seated in boardroom style.

Room 4 holds about 25 people comfortably seated in boardroom style.

Room 5 is a one to one space

Room 9 is a for hire office space

Room 10 holds about 35 people comfortably seated in boardroom style

Room 11 and 12 are for hire offices

Room 13 is a classroom set up for 20 people

Room 14 is a for hire office

Room 15 is a relaxed cafe style space for up to 20 people
All the above rooms can have the seating reconfigured (e.g. cabaret style) which may increase capacity slightly.
The IT suite is available to book outside of library opening hours.
Our small kitchen is available for making tea and coffee.
We don’t have catering facilities, but you are welcome to order outside catering.
